Bei der 2006er Tour von Joseph Parsons mit seiner großartigen Band (Tom Gillam an der Gitarre, Scott Brickin am Bass und Matt Muir am Schlagzeug) nutzten wir die Gelegenheit, 2 Shows unter den bewährten Fittichen von Andy Horn mitschneiden zu lassen. Der "Red River Saloon" in Heilbronn am 19.10. sowie das "Laboratorium" in Stuttgart einen Tag später lagen nahe, nachdem sich zu den beiden Auftritten auch noch Terry Lee Hale als "very special guest" angekündigt hatte. Für die beiden Songs "Jerusalem" von Steve Earle sowie "No Disguise" aus dem Hardpan-Album standen immerhin 3/4 dieses Side-Projekts auf der Bühne. Diese beiden Stücke sowie weitere 15 befinden sich auf der jüngsten Ausgabe unserer Official Blue Rose Bootleg-Serie, wobei "No Disguise" die einzige Aufnahme der "Lab"-Show ist, alle anderen Songs wie "King Of Baltimore", "Shoot The Moon", Everybody Loves Her", das bisher unveröffentlichte "Burning Fire" oder die beiden Stücke mit Todd Thibaud, "To Bury An Angel" und "Carry Us Away", sind alle im kleinen "Red River" mitgeschnitten worden. Die Soundqualität ist durchweg erstklassig, wovon ihr euch bei den Soundschnipseln überzeugen könnt.
When Joseph Parsons toured Germany in 2006 with his fantastic band (featuring Tom Gillam on guitars and vocals, Scott Bricklin on bass and Matt Muir on drums) two special shows have been professionally recorded by recording wizard Andy Horn, the "Red River Saloon" show in "Blue Rose Capital" Heilbronn on October 19 and, just one day later, the show at the "Laboratorium" in Stuttgart. At both shows there was "very special guest" Terry Lee Hale to join the band (including Todd Thibaud who opened the shows for the band) for two songs.
